WOLDS AGRONOMY is a venture formed by the same directors of Wolds Produce, the Potato Marketing Specialists; Wolds Produce was established on the chalky soils of the Yorkshire Wolds an area well known for it’s quality seed and ware potatoes. The Company has grown significantly since its concept in 2004 and now with an annual turnover exceeding £5 million has recently acquired larger premises on the old airfield at Pocklington outside York. Seeking to expand their Agronomy team they are looking for Agronomists within the next year that maybe uncertain about their future and wish to explore their options now.
THE JOB: Agronomist
THE SALARY PACKAGE: Circa £40,000 Basic Salary + Car/4 x4 + Bonus + Benefits + Share options.
THE LOCATION: Pocklington, Nr York Yorkshire.

As an experienced Agronomist you will be able to service existing accounts as well as developing your own lucrative client base via your existing contacts.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* A successful track record of agronomic responsibility with specific relevance to crops – Essential.
* BASIS Certified – Essential.
* Position available either now or within the year if you are not available now.
* An excellent communicator, networker and negotiator with interpersonal skills – Essential.
* Knowledge of all current techniques, technology and products in the market place – Essential.
* Full UK driving licence required – Essential.
* Living in Yorkshire – Preferred.
