ValeAg Ltd is a dynamic forward-thinking company based in Oxfordshire. We establish and maintain grassland and field margins, manage woodlands and are experts in invasive weed control and wildflower meadow management. We work with clients throughout the Cotswolds and Home Counties to provide high quality land management services. We have a wide customer base including farms, charities, estates and local authorities.
Our business is growing and we therefore need additional operators to join our skilled team.


Estate Maintenance Operator
Starting Salary: £18,000- £20,000 depending on qualifications and experience
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of estate maintenance tasks and will have practical experience in some or all of the following: fencing, tractor operations, spraying, chain saw and excavator use. An interest in the countryside is also essential.
Duties will include fencing, hedge laying, spraying, mowing, seeding and ground works, using a variety of machinery.
Ideally you will be qualified to CS30/31 and PA2/6. As a company we provide training and support to encourage career development.
Applicants must have a good mechanical ability with attention to detail. They will be expected to use their initiative as well as work within a team to achieve set work targets.
You will be computer literate and have good literacy and numeracy skills.
A full driver’s license is essential.


Estate Maintenance Assistant Manager
Starting Salary: £20,000- £22,000 depending on qualifications and experience
Working with the Directors, the Assistant Manager’s duties will include practical estate management work, work planning and logistics.
In addition to the skills required for the Estate Maintenance Operator, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and some experience of managing or supervising a team. You will be able to show how to lead and motivate team members in order to get the best out of them.
You will have some experience of work planning, target setting and knowledge of safe working practices.
