Brooksby Melton College is looking to recruit a full time Land based HE Coordinator (with a Lecturing role in Agriculture). BMC has been farming since 1946, on our 750 acre estate set within rural Leicestershire. The commercially run farm encompasses a range of combinable crops along with livestock including the colleges prize winning Welsh Sow Herd. The Farm supports teaching and learning and has strong industry links both locally and nationally. We require a fully qualified Lecturer in Agriculture to specialise in the delivery of crop production across both FE and HE programmes. The post holder will be responsible for the continuing development and coordination of the Land based HE provision across the college.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic team to lead on the development of agricultural and associated land based programmes. Applicants should be able to demonstrate
the ability to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment. The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status and hold a degree in a relevant
subject. Experience of working in these vocational areas is also an essential requirement. The post is on the lecturer scale with an annual abatement for the HE development role.

If you would like the opportunity for an informal discussion about this role, please contact Tina Brady, Programme Team Manager, on 01664 850850 ext 259.
