GEORGE MOATE is a well-respected manufacturer of innovative agricultural cultivation machines, established in 2002. The Company bought the first triple folding Tiller to the market and have recently launched the revolutionary Tillerstar into production. There are over 300 George Moate machines in the UK root vegetable market and the Company has a healthy spares and repairs business. In December 2011 George Moate was bought by PSS, a Company with over 40 years’ experience in manufacturing. Their aim was to reduce lead times of machines to market and professionalise the production. PSS were particularly keen to invest in the new Tillerstar, which they believe has the potential to revolutionise British Farming.

THE TERRITORY – Head Office in East Anglia, National Role.

THE ROLE
- As an experienced Sales Professional, you will manage and also develop a lucrative customer base within the UK with an emphasis on client retention and account development, armed with a trusted, credible, evolving and established company background that George Moate has. There will be times when ‘hands-on’ demonstrations will need your assistance and knowledge in the field.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will work in the field and from the manufacturing site in East Anglia and be given great support and resource in further developing your exclusive customer base.

The role requires an individual seeking career progression and huge job satisfaction within a forever evolving industry.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED -
* Prior sales experience - Essential.
* A background in Agriculture as well as machinery use and equipment knowledge – Essential.
* Previous track record of selling a new product to the market – Preferred.
* An understanding and passion for agricultural business – Essential.
* A knowledge of root crop production – Preferred.
* Personable, determined and self-motivated.
* Full UK driving licence required - Essential.
* Living in commutable distance to East Anglia - Preferred.
