RELIEF DAIRY HERD REPRODUCTIVE SPECIALIST (R.M.S.)

HAMPSHIRE

Genus ABS is a global organisation that is revitalising the dairy industry with innovation. We need enthusiastic individuals who enjoy a challenge and are capable of achieving great results.

Currently, in the UK we have 120,000 cows on the Reproductive Management System (RMS) .This US-developed system is well proven and is at the cutting edge of professional dairy herd management.

This specific approach involves daily herd visits, an evaluation of computer-based records to maximise heat detection rates and artificial insemination, in order to get cows pregnant. In addition you will identify and solve practical issues that are restraining dairy herd fertility.

Due to the overwhelming success of the RMS programme this part of the business is expanding rapidly we now require a Relief RMS Technician in the above area.

Training on the specific reproductive management system will be provided.

The ideal candidates will have experience of working with dairy cows and preferably be AI trained. You will require great communication skills to allow you to work with a whole team of people including dairy herd owners, herdsmen, vets and nutritionists.

A highly competitive performance related package is on offer for the right individuals, together with opportunities for career progression within a successful dynamic global organisation.
