We have a new contract position with an immediate start for a person to milk 210 Autumn block calving cows on a grass based system, cows are milked through a 12/24 swingover parlour with backing gate, the herd is Cubicle housed and Forage Box fed in winter. Cows calve 1st Sept-mid November, with all replacements reared on the farm. This is a well organised simple system which requires an enthusiastic competent team player to carry out the day to day tasks, good support is available from the owners and encouragement would be given to further advance your knowledge and skills base by joining discussion groups etc. The person required will be enthusiastic for and have knowledge of the block calving, grass based system for which we offer an excellent remuneration together with a 285 day contract giving regular time off and a good 3 bed ch Bungalow a short distance from the farm.  For an informal discussion contact Andrew Gassor on 07778634429
