Mushroom Crop Manager
De Lacy Executive is seeking a Mushroom Crop Manager to take responsibility for all crop husbandry whilst managing a team of 6-8 people. Our client is a successful specialist crop business in the South West of England.
The company seeks a manager who has a fundamental knowledge of crop husbandry and has the enthusiasm to quickly learn new crop technologies utilising high tech systems. To ensure that yield and quality targets are optimised and achieved; good planning and organisational skills are required, along with the ability to record and analyse crop data. The successful candidate will have the competence to motivate and manage a well-trained production team.
Candidates should have an agricultural/horticultural qualification. Employment experience in mushroom crop husbandry is required, and a good understanding of supply chain management would be advantageous but not essential. The ability to proactively establish and maintain effective working team relations and a driving licence are essential.
