Job Details
Our client is an innovative and advanced horticultural business that specialises in growing nutritious kiwifruit. As Innovation Leader you will be based in Italy and working in new cultivar development to ensure that our client stays at the forefront of kiwifruit production.
You will be working across a variety of different areas including managing clonal trials, germplasm management, supporting pre-commercial R&D trials and also European R&D trials.
You'll be based at their main clonal evaluation sites in Italy, overseeing trials on both these sites. This will involve establishing the trials, recording and analysing data and developing new cultivars.
Candidates will have previous experience of working in plant or fruit physiology or plant breeding and experience of managing trials. Experience in cultivar development is highly desirable.
It is essential that you can speak both Italian and English.
