Orchard Programmes Team Leader | Italy

We're working with a world leading kiwifruit grower as they look for an Orchard Programmes Team Leader to join their team in central Italy. You'll work with growers and technicians to lead orchard productivity and fruit quality improvements allowing our client to retain their position as a market leader.

You will set up and manage the trial program and pilot orchard program, organise field days, advise on future varieties and manage the relationship between our client and the growers/orchard owners. You'll also analyse data collected from the trials, then distribute your findings to the growers.

Candidates will have a strong horticultural background and will have worked in trials before. It is essential that you are fluent in Italian and that you have strong written and verbal English language skills. Project and team management skills are also key.

This role will be a mix between office and orchard work. There will be travel involved and extra hours are required due to the seasonal nature of fresh produce.
