De Lacy Executive’s client is an innovative and ambitious company consulting, supporting and supplying a range of exclusive products to the professional sports turf market. 

Due to planned strategic development of their business, we seek a Technical Sales Manager.  Ideal candidates will be based in the Midlands.

Our clients team of technical individuals work closely with global market leading manufacturers.   They pride ourselves on delivering a high level of agronomic support, whilst building and maintaining long term customer relationships.  Drive and self-motivation are essential and will ensure success in a competitive and rewarding marketplace.

We invite applications from either proven Technical Sales Managers wishing to take their career to the next level or from those working within the wider industry, who are keen to develop a career in a commercial environment.  A formal sports turf or BASIS/FACTS qualification would be advantageous but full training will be provided for the right candidate
 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience selling into the amenity sector will be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of golf greens upkeep and/or grounds maintenance is desirable
  • Ability to build business relationships
  • Determination and energy
  • A 'can do' attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence
