Job Details
De Lacy Executive have been retained to recruit for an exciting role of Trainee Dairy Consultant for a major consultancy business providing bespoke independent, statistical and practical advice to farmers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in consulting. This territory-based role provides a varied and challenging, exclusive opening to the dairy sector, although this role may also open to other areas of consultancy.
The successful, ambitious candidate will have an introduction to projects such as feed stock, production, project management, basic payments, technical consultancy, herd management and nutrition and comprehensive budgeting.
For the right individual, this role also has the potential of exploring the trading side of agriculture.
Requirements:
- Dairy experience and a few years of agricultural employment following graduation with a degree or HND in relevant discipline.
- Strong business management skills focussed on providing profitable solutions for clients.
- Proficient numeracy and computer skills
- Ability to build effective business relationships with farmers.
