WHERE IS THE ROLE LOCATED? Essex

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? A hugely rewarding and varied role, providing high level technical support and product feedback from in-field performance to various departments including Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering. From supporting dealers and end users throughout the UK and Europe, providing training on internal service support systems to compiling detailed technical feedback reports, contributing to regular service updates and bulletins, the role requires a strong multitasking ability and flexibility on travel arrangements

WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED? 

• You’ll have an excellent background in agricultural engineering, either through the machinery dealership workshop career path, or within the machinery manufacturer environment
• Your technical experience should be up to date in terms of current technologies, with particular in-depth knowledge of tractor engine and transmission systems, electrohydraulic systems, precision technology and diagnostic processes
• You’ll have a qualification in agricultural engineering, either through a Land-Based Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent or educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline
• With good all-round knowledge of farming, you’ll be at home in the tractor seat and other in-field environments
• Your communication and interpersonal skills should be well developed, with an emphasis on customer service, and you will have a good all-round standard of IT literacy, willing to participate in and deliver presentations if required
• Fluent English language skills and a high standard of written work are also expected
• You’ll have a committed work ethic, be able to manage multiple tasks, and be able to work calmly under pressure
• You’ll be resident in or prepared to relocate to Essex, possess a clean driving licence and have the flexibility to travel regularly within the UK and mainland Europe
