A rare opportunity has arisen to join the team on a modern and progressive 400 cow unit on the Lancashire Coast, close to Lancaster and Morecambe.  
The multi award winning farm enjoys excellent facilities with exceptional levels of cleanliness and maintenance and has a long history of staff retention. The herd is cubicle housed and milked three times per day, calving all year round. 
Working alongside the committed owners you will undertake day to day management of the herd, a proportion of the milking, herd health and welfare plus record keeping. You will work closely with the vets and nutritionist to maximise output and herd performance and be a key example to junior staff. 
The successful candidate will have experience of being a lead role in a high yielding system, strong attention to detail alongside excellent communication skills.
