Health, Safety and Environment Manager – East Anglia
De Lacy Executive has been appointed to recruit an Health, Safety and Environment Manager for one of the UK's largest meat processing companies. Our client has over 350 partnership farms and champions the high welfare 'farm to fork' approach. This is an office based role in East Anglia that will also include travel to sites around the UK such as farms and abattoirs.
This exciting opportunity will involve providing advice and support to the company's agricultural team as well as assisting in the development and promotion of health and safety management systems. Amongst other responsibilities, the successful candidate will aid the company to drive compliance with legislation and EHS awareness along with ensuring all training requirements are fulfilled. You will liase closely with the senior management team on a regular basis on all matters concerning health and safety.
The successful candidate will hold a NEBOSH certificate or an equivalent, be passionate about health and safety within agriculture and be a strong communicator, able to influence key stakeholders.
- NEBOSH certificate or equivalent as a minimum
- Ideally be an IOSH member
- An understanding of H&S in an agricultural setting
- Organisation and planning skills
- A full UK driving license
