Location: West Devon – 700acre farm across 2 sites

If so, we invite you to join our small and enthusiastic team. You will be working with a forward thinking grassland pedigree beef farm, applying leading edge techniques, genetics and standards of health.

Who we are?

We set up our Elite Health (CHeCS) closed suckler beef herd in 2016. So far, we have grown the breeding herd to 340 pedigree Angus females.  Now we are gearing up for our next stage of development. On the production side, this includes:

• 100% pasture fed and rotational paddock grazing for nutritional and environmental value.
• Superior genetics, emphasising IMF for eating quality, plus high fertility and birthing ease.

On the sales side we are creating an export sales channel and deploying www.beefbook.com as a way of marketing livestock for breeding through to beef for eaters.

What are we looking for?

• Someone who works closely with the owner and investor to meet the Business Plan;
• Is an ambitious individual with the drive to develop their career as the business grows;
• Has practical experience in cattle breeding, birthing, feeding, healthcare and livestock sales;
• Someone who is prepared to do whatever is required to get the job done;
• Understands the positive impact of applied sciences and technology;
• Relishes a data driven style of performance management; and,
• Is obsessive about farm bio-security, cleanliness and tidiness.
