Technical Sales Specialist
To support their strategy of providing solutions to some of the UK’s top ruminant livestock producers our client now requires a Technical Sales Specialist based at home to be responsible for the Scottish borders and North of England. Recognised internationally and having a long heritage in the agribusiness sector, our client is part of a diverse group of companies providing innovative products to all of their chosen business sectors as well as gaining a significant reputation for adding value to their customers businesses.
This critical position reports to the Technical Manager and is a pivotal appointment for the success of the business. The primary focus of this exciting opportunity is on maximising the sales and margin through high level technical engagement with a broad range of our client’s customers. Providing technical and sales support to the wider sales and customer service teams will also be a key part of the role as will delivering service support to the diverse customer base. The role also offers the opportunity to be totally involved in the direction of R&D for the wider feed business.
To be successful you will need to have the relevant sales experience and technical background of Ruminant Nutrition and Forage Management as well as excellent communication and relationship building skills to develop sales and margins across the customer base. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work cross functionally will also be required to deliver success.
