Job Details
We are looking for a passionate Senior Field Technician to join a forward-thinking plant science business. The firm is highly regarded within the industry and is well known for its strong values and unbiased nature.
As Senior Field Technician your role will have two main points of focus; providing agronomy advice and assisting with the practical trials. You will be responsible for managing the agronomy across the whole trials site and help the team deliver first class trials.
You'll carry our crop walking duties, manage the agrochemical applications team, carry out agricultural and horticultural operations and assist in managing the commercial farm crops.
We are looking for candidates who have a strong educational background and experience in either agricultural or horticultural field trials. You will have experience of managing a team and be comfortable planning and organising workloads. Tractor driving skills are needed, as are your FACTS and BASIS qualifications.
It is essential that you can work well under pressure, have a high attention to detail and can be flexible.
