To support their growth strategy of providing specialised crop nutrition, industrial and pharmaceutical solutions our partner K+ S now require a Sales Manager based at home to be responsible for UK and Eire. Recognised internationally and having a long heritage in the Agribusiness sector, K+S UK is part of Europe’s leading manufacturer of potash and magnesium products and is also the largest salt producer worldwide. They provide innovative products to all their chosen business sectors as well as gaining a significant reputation for adding value to their customers businesses.

The Role

This senior position reports to the UK & Eire Managing Director and is a pivotal appointment for the success of the business. The primary focus of this exciting opportunity is managing the sales and marketing of the total product range, as well as managing the routes to market including major producer sales and industrial partners. Developing and implementing the sales and marketing strategy and building on the significant market share through innovative approaches to the product range opportunities will also be critical to the success of this role.

The Candidate

To be successful you will need to have a commercial background gained in a relevant agribusiness as well as excellent communication and relationship building skills to develop sales and margins across the customer base. This role would be ideal for someone who wishes to make their next career move into sales management from a sales  background or a strong sales manager with experience and a FACTS qualification. You may have experience in commodity sales or an aligned agricultural business.
