Bromham House Farm is situated some 4 miles west of the market town of Devizes and is part of a much larger Dairy/Arable business. The owners of the 200 cow unit are committed dairy farmers that require a Herd Manager to take on the full day to day running of the herd. 
The herd calve all year round and currently average approximately 9500 litres per cow. Feeding is TMR and Parlour Feed with Cows milked through a 20/20 90deg Manus parlour with ACR’s and auto ID. There are good handling facilities which include an auto shed race. Housing is Mattress Cubicles (new 2018). DIY AI is a requirement with foot trimming the Herd Manager’s responsibility together with an outside contractor. 
In house relief provide cover for all days off, plus a further thirty days of relief cover are built in per contract year to allow the Herd Manager time for other herd management tasks. 
We offer an excellent contract to include a very nice 3 bed c/h d/g Bungalow within easy walking distance of the unit. There is a possibility for a Wife/Partner to carry out calf rearing if that is of interest.
