We require a keen, enthusiastic and mature person to join the small team and work alongside the herdsperson and owner on a 200 cow dairy unit between Welshpool and Shrewsbury.

The farm has enjoying continued investment in both infrastructure and machinery over the years, resulting in excellent facilities and working environment for both staff and cows. The herd currently achieves around 9,500 l’s, is calved AYR and milked through a 20:20 parlour fitted with all modern equipment to aid the herdsperson in their work. The role would involve milking, proactive cow health and welfare, foot trimming and general stock tasks working alongside the other herdsperson. You will have some background experience with livestock / machinery, but ‘on-the-job’ training will be given. This is a great opportunity for someone with drive and ambition to get into the dairy industry and be rewarded for their hard work.
