Would you like to work for one the largest fresh produce growers in Europe? Due to continued development of their farm in Essex, we are looking for an Outdoor Planting & Harvest Manager to join their team of expert growers.
This is essentially an Assistant Farm Manager/Assistant Growing Manager position and it will see you supervising the Planting and Harvest teams whilst ensuring that crop specifications, availabilities, quality and food safety requirements are met. You'll also be responsible for crop walking, managing KPIs, assisting in selecting varieties, budgeting and crop forecasting.
This is a brilliant opportunity for ambitious and determined individuals who want to learn from the best. You will ideally have a degree of similar qualification in Horticulture of Agriculture as well as minimum one/two years' experience of working in fresh produce. Preferably you will have an understanding of whole head crops but if you have worked with fresh produce in an Assistant Farm Manager type position then we still want to hear from you.
