Working Farm Based Assistant Grainstore Manager

A position has arisen in our grainstore for a working Assistant Manager providing services to grain merchants and growers. This is an opportunity to be part of a rural family run arable farming business in South Wiltshire.

The person would be an assistant to the Grain Store Manager, with the following skills:

Experience and confidence in handling (with relevant certificates) large loading and towing vehicles, dealing with intake and out loading of grain, monitoring of commodities in store, experience with electro-mechanical applications for control of automated systems, ability to undertake maintenance, an attitude to work flexible hours to help with the smooth running of the store at busy times, computer and technologically literate, numerically able, attention to detail and tidiness with a view to maintaining the industry standards required for audit purposes. A willingness to undertake general maintenance on farm and filling in as required.

Confidence in dealing with customer queries by phone and in person

Necessary training will be given
