Our Client is one of the world’s leading agriculture companies. The clear aims of the company are to improve the sustainability, quality and safety of agriculture with world class science and innovative crop solutions. These technologies enable millions of farmers around the world to make better use of limited agricultural resources.

We are looking for an experienced people manager to lead and inspire a large talented Environmental Safety Platform of scientists within the Crop Protection group in Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME).  The role is based at their international research and development site in Berkshire

In order to support product registrations in the EAME Region, you will ensure the provision of technical data, regulatory dossier & project inputs and expertise across a broad area of ecoscience, environmental fate science and environmental risk assessment. You will work closely with colleagues to identify, develop and procure internal & external capability in the Environmental Safety Platform with a focus on delivering the EAME work programme. You will have the ability to manage a high and complex workload collaborating with diverse business partners to prioritise and deliver in line with the business strategy. You will drive the development of science strategies and technology foresight for emerging environmental safety science areas in EAME.

The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of ecoscience, fate science and/or environmental risk assessment and an ability to work effectively with regulatory and business stakeholders to support the product range. You will manage annual budgets, capability development and resource allocation, internally and with external partners.
