We have new contract vacancy for an experienced person to join a family farming operation between Sherborne in Dorset, and Wincanton.

This 420 cow herd of Holsteins are AYR Calving and yielding 9,200 litres on 2 x milking.

Cows are housed in excellent sand bedded cubicles, and grazed during summer months.

The appointed person will be required to milk with the herdsperson and assist with all duties related to the farm, including milking when Herdsperson is off.

The job is for an experienced person wishing to get involved with day to management alongside farmer and herdsperson.
