JOB TITLE: Agricultural Equipment Technician/Mechanic

POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Multiple across all thirty-six (36) company branches

CONTRACT DURATION:  Two years, with the possibility to extend the contract and remain in Canada as a permanent resident and later Canadian citizen with Rocky Mountain Equipment’s assistance

WAGE: $26.00- $37.00 CAD/hr, depending upon experience and location of work

LOCATIONS:  Canadian provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Diagnose and inspect agricultural equipment for faults and malfunctions
  • Repair and adjust agricultural equipment and replace defective parts
  • Perform updates, pre-season delivery inspections, and pre-season inspections
  • Complete work orders and enter technician notes into the computer
  • Order parts and provide quotes

Job Requirements and Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience working with Heavy Equipment particularly large agricultural machinery
  • Specific experience working on CASE Agriculture Equipment and/or New Holland (strong asset)
  • Driver’s License
  • Possess problem solving skills

Education:

  • No specific requirements although the completion of an apprenticeship program in the repair of heavy agricultural and/or construction equipment would be a strong asset.

Experience:

  • Minimum 24 or more months of relevant mechanical experience.
