TWO KEY MEMBERS OF STAFF REQUIRED – Norfolk

Stangroom Brothers Ltd farm 800 ha producing combinable crops, blackcurrants and circa 300 Ha of herbs which are supplied fresh for freezing or dried and packed on farm for the catering trade.

Tractor Operator Drill Person / Combine Driver / Pixall Driver

To drive Lexion 740 Combine and operate Fastrac 4220 with Lemken 8 m drill and 4m P / Harrow combination. Additional duties will include Fertiliser application with Kuhn Axis 40.2. The job requires knowledge of precision farming, PA1 & PA2 would be preferable plus telehandler certificates and a willingness to assist with all aspects of the business. The role will also involve the operation and maintenance of our self- propelled Pixall herb harvesters and the delivery of herbs to the freezer plant, which at times is done on 12-hour shifts (24/7) to accommodate factory requirements.

 Drier Operator / Pixall Driver / Unimog / Fastrac Driver

To join the herb production team, the person appointed will need to be mechanically minded and  be involved in all aspects of the Herb harvest, ranging from ( after training and mentoring).  Drier operation, driving Pixall self-propelled herb harvesters and transporting herbs to freezing plant or the two farm driers. This role  will require a flexible approach to a 12-hour shift system which can run 24 hours per day in busy times, this will be reflected in the pay rates.
