The successful applicant will be a full time member of the Agriculture Academic Team. The post is based on the Aberdeen Campus and interacts with related staff across the Faculty, wider organization and beyond. We are looking for a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic individual to help inspire our undergraduate and postgraduate students. The post holder will complement existing academic staff to deliver practical, field and college based education in Agriculture. The successful applicant will develop and participate in research relevant to the subject area and will be strongly encouraged to collaborate with scientists in our local Partner academic organizations. SRUC Aberdeen has an established record in crops and soils research and the team, under the leadership of Professor Christine Watson, with plans to expand upon this.

Applicants should hold a minimum of BSc (honours) in Agriculture or related Bioscience degree. Possession of a relevant MSc or PhD qualification is highly desirable and prior experience in education and / or research will be an advantage. A working knowledge of current issues relating to agronomy, crop protection and crop physiology and experience of applied research is desired.
