Head of Ruminant Technical – National

De Lacy Executive is seeking a Head of Ruminant in the Technical division for a World class client with a pioneering approach to animal nutrition which is expanding rapidly in a market seeking intelligent solutions to its livestock performance challenges.

This new senior role will report to the Company Director and involves managing, developing and building a small team of Technical Managers. The candidate in question will provide technical, nutrition and product support to key customers and business initiatives. You will also be working closely with the Commercial and Marketing division on product literature, PR and events and leading the delivery of technical and product value-added training to the team.

This is a home-based position with the requirements to travel within the UK. 

Requirements:

• A strong understanding of UK ruminant nutrition and technical aspects.
• Team management experience.
• The ability to participate in product strategy development.
• Experience of delivering technical activity/information to support a sales proposition.
• Able to demonstrate flexibility, adapt to changing priorities and manage time and resource allocation accordingly.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Remuneration. A comprehensive remuneration package will be offered reflecting the importance of the role.
