Farm Manager - Shropshire

De Lacy Executive has been retained by a progressive farming operation to recruit a Broiler Farm Manager to manage a substantial bird site in the idyllic Shropshire countryside.

The proficient candidate will have previous broiler experience and be in charge of taking birds from 0 to 45 days in very modern, automated houses.

This is a challenging and rewarding long term role for a hands-on and committed individual, who has the confidence to run the farm largely as their own. The remuneration package reflects this with an excellent salary, performance bonus and a modernised three bedroomed home.

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic individual, dedicated to taking responsibility for a high standard of flock care, welfare and performance.

Responsibilities will typically include:

• Production performance
• Ensuring bird welfare
• Feed management
• Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard
• Maintaining safe working practices
• Ventilation management
• Vaccinations
• Record keeping
