We are delighted to be working in partnership with a well respected and diverse fresh produce business as they look to appoint a Director of Farming.
This farming business grows, packs and distributes high quality vegetables for both the retail and the wholesale markets across the UK and Europe. They are now looking for a Director of Farming to join their team in order to drive innovation and develop their farms.
As director of Farming you will be responsible for effectively managing 7000 acres of cropping across the East Anglia region. You'll also be responsible for the successful management of a large farming team, dealing with external stakeholders and being an active member of the Executive Management Team.
Candidates will be forward thinking, imaginative and innovative with the ambition and drive to develop the farming business. You will have an interest in new technology and strong leadership skills. You will also have experience of farm management and running a profitable farming business as it is essential that you understand the need for planning ahead and budgeting.
