Job Details
Experienced Stockperson/Farm Worker, Mary Arden’s Farm, Wilmcote, Nr Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. CV37 9UN
Full-time, permanent position
- The farm is organic and producing stock for the Trusts’ cafes, which work to the Soil Association’s Gold Standard.
- Displaying a range of traditional and rare breed livestock as part of the visitor attraction including; cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, donkeys and assorted poultry.
- Traditional methods of farming are used as much as possible.
- This is an exciting opportunity for someone experienced with a range of livestock.
- Hands-on, friendly and approachable, you will be equally comfortable working independently, as within a small team.
- The post holder will hold a recognised agricultural qualification or equivalent experience. You will be required to work flexible hours based on the needs of the farm, this will include some weekends.
- There will also be a requirement to attend livestock out of hours as required.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 24th November 2019, and interviews will take place week commencing Monday 2nd December 2019.
