Sales & Business Development Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Agricultural & Facilities management division for a Sales and Business Development Executive. This is a fantastic role for a motivated and creative salesperson who has knowledge of both the agricultural and utility sectors.

Kent based FGS Agri are an integrated business providing services for the needs of the agricultural, amenity, horticultural and utility sectors and is part of the Heathcote Holdings group of companies.

The company prides itself on providing bespoke solutions to our clients promptly and professionally, whilst continuing to expand within these rapidly moving sectors. As the Sales and Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for servicing and developing existing accounts whilst actively seeking out new business opportunities whether it be through new customers, introducing new services or harnessing new technology.


·         As the Sales and Business Development Executive, you will be required to prospect new business opportunities for FGS Agri as well as promoting those of our group Companies

·         Identify emerging innovative services and business opportunities; evaluate the associated commerciality; conceive a marketing plan agreeable to all stakeholders

·         Managing your own diary and booking appointments

·         Visiting customers on site, scoping requirements, produce costings, provide customer quotes for services and equipment in written form

·         Negotiating contracts with new and existing customers

·         Managing and expanding existing customer accounts and relationships

·         Successfully manage your own pipeline to ensure you hit sales targets

·         Completing administrative duties as required



·         Relevant experience within a Business Development, Area Sales, Field Sales Regional Sales

·         Strong knowledge of the agricultural and utility sectors is essential

·         Proven track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts

·         Full, UK driving license is essential

·         Local area knowledge preferable

·         Competent IT skills

·         Ability to work as part of a team
