We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic operator with a good foundation of experience to join a team working with high performing pedigree cows in truly first class facilities.  Exemplary levels of welfare and production are catered for in facilities including a fully computerised 24 X 24 parlour incorporating auto dipping and flushing, activity meters, auto ID and shedding.  The herd are housed in deep sand cubicles within an umbrella style brand new building.

The cows and followers are fed a TMR ration from excellent facilities and with modern equipment on this well mechanised unit. 

With the unit running at a capacity of 240 cows plus followers and a loyal team member moving on; we seek a stock enthusiast to work with all youngstock/followers and provide all mechanised feeding on the unit.  Yields are in the region of 10,000 litres per cow, the herd is calving mainly late summer/winter and milked twice a day.

The successful applicant will be offered an excellent 3-bed character cottage on the farm, close to a full range of amenities in a very picturesque village within a very sought after part of the county, along with an excellent pay and time off package.
