To support their strong market leading position, we are delighted to be working with our Strategic Partner, Wynnstay Group who now require a Key Account Manager to perform as a Regional Dairy Sales Specialist to deliver technical and sales support to the successful Group Sales Team. As a customer focused business this increased technical support to the farmer customer base is critical to the Wynnstay service offer. As part of a financially strong, diverse group with a strong service capability, Wynnstay supplies of a wide range of quality feed products, grassland or arable inputs and services to farmers. Wynnstay offers its customers the complete agricultural product range and provides a consistent approach of improving farm performance.
Reporting to the Regional Field Sales Manager this senior position will work closely with all field-based staff, product managers and specialists to grow the area and maximise sales potential. Providing technical support and training, to include coaching on the application and maintenance of an on-farm dairy management system, dairy, youngstock nutrition and management, to all relevant sales personnel as required. Ensuring all sales staff are equipped with sales support material as and when necessary which would include supplying regular informative updates and articles via a range of communication methods including contribution to the media and PR marketing network.
To be successful you will need to have a business mindset, and be a driven, enthusiastic, forward thinker who can offer exceptional sales expertise and specialist ruminant knowledge. You will have a strong focus on customer service and have achieved a high level of technical competence through academia or practical farming and industry experience. Being a strong communicator and presenter will be a key success factor as well as an ability to lead by example.
