Seed Sales Manager
To support their rapidly growing seed business activity, Wynnstay Group now requires a Seed Sales Manager to drive further growth in the Eastern Region and ensure their continued success in this sector. As part of a financially strong, diverse group that includes manufacturing and the supply of a wide range of agricultural products and services to farmers Wynnstay Group offers its customers the full agricultural seed range and provides a consistent approach to delivering outstanding customer service.
Reporting directly to the Head of Seed, this multi-faceted role will be primarily responsible for maximizing the financial contribution to the seed product group by developing new and existing sales opportunities in the retail and wholesale sector. You will also be required to manage some aspects of the local commercial activity and develop strong relationships with seed suppliers and breeders - using these relationships to identify commercial opportunities for the Seed Business.
To be successful you must be adept at identifying commercial opportunities and have at least two years farm business experience of procurement or farm input sales. Strong management skills and practical knowledge of the seed supply chain will be critical to the role. Candidates must share our client’s passion for developing long term relationships, customer service and supporting their customers to maximize returns in this changing marketplace.
