Call Center Manager - Agriculture
A call center manager agriculture is required by a well established agriculture and rural business throughout England and Wales. The call center manager will have had strong call center experience which is needed to be set up as a new Department for this thriving rural business. In addition to excellent call center experience, the successful manager will need strong people management skills along with the necessary motivation and team leadership abilities. It is expected the call center manager will provide the essential team leadership with a hands on and can do approach to motivate new team members for this essential telesales business. This is a total office-based role in modern offices in Shropshire.
In this role, the successful Call Center Manager will be required to:
- Recruit, manage and motivate a team of telesales personnel
- Grow and develop existing and new customer relationships
- Negotiate sales on company’s products
- Generate and follow up leads and make proactive outbound calls
- Utilize and update a computerized customer record system
- Be Self–Motivated
- Multitask and be a team player.
Excellent communication ability along with good IT/computer skills is important for the successful candidate.
An agricultural background knowledge and experience of livestock farming would be advantageous but is definitely secondary to call Center management experience
Agriculture/animal science graduates who have had on-farm experience post-graduation, are also encouraged to apply for the telesales roles that will become available once the Call Center Manager is appointed.
