A fantastic career opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Trainee Sales Specialist within the animal feed sector.   De Lacy Executive's client is a highly successful national company. 

This is an interesting and varied role which will include looking at rations, helping improve efficiencies, herd health, managing forage stocks and feed budgeting.

Once trained, the successful candidate will  will be accountable for establishing and implementing a successful sales strategy within their area.  It is an excellent territory, which has strong dairy and beef potential and an existing ledger.  You will have full accountability for your ledger from all aspects of pricing, contract agreement & management and development of both existing & new accounts.

This position will be home based and travel will be required throughout the territory, as well as to national venues.

Full training and support will be provided.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Educated HND/Degree level in a relevant subject
  • Commercially and financially astute
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Proven experience in an agricultural B2C sales role will be an advantage, but is not essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in dairy cows and dairy nutrition
  • Willingness to learn about Ruminant rationing
  • Full UK driving licence

Remuneration:
