A fantastic career opportunity has arisen for a Sales Specialist within the animal feed sector. De Lacy Executive's client is a highly successful national company.

This is an interesting and varied role for someone with a keen interest in dairy cows. Duties will include looking at rations, helping improve efficiencies, herd health, managing forage stocks and feed budgeting.

The successful candidate will have total autonomy and will be accountable for establishing and implementing a successful sales strategy within their area. It is an excellent territory, which has strong dairy and beef potential and an existing ledger. You will have full accountability for your ledger from all aspects of pricing, contract agreement & management and development of both existing & new accounts.

This position will be home based and travel will be required throughout the territory, as well as to national venues.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong 'Solution based' selling skills
  • Commercially and financially astute
  • Excellent negotiator
  • Proven experience in an agricultural B2C sales role
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skill
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in dairy cows and dairy nutrition
  • Experience of or a willingness to learn about Ruminant rationing
  • Full UK driving licence
