Job Details
Our client is seeking an Indoor Pig Stockperson for their unit in Devon.
The farm is a well-established family-run mixed livestock farming business. They are located in Mid/East Devon. The farm spans 500 acres of cattle, sheep and pigs.
The Pig Stockperson will work alongside the farm manager and team of eight.
Daily duties include:
- Pig welfare
- Feeding
- Bedding
- Pressure cleaning
- Working on own and as part of the team
- Other general farming duties
- Using automated feeding across the farm
Candidates must have:
- Pig farming experience
- Experience with a telehandler would be ideal but training can be given
- Full driving license
Salary d.o.e, approx. £22k - £24k.
Based on a 45 hour week, however, there is the flexibility to do more or less. There would be a requirement for some flexible weekend work.
Accommodation is not available so candidates should be able to commute to EX16.
