NIAB runs the largest field crop research operation in England and Wales, with its headquarters at Cambridge and twelve regional centres and over fifty staff directly involved with in-field trialling of crop varieties and inputs. As a result of internal promotions, we are currently looking to fill positions in our Eastern region. We are looking for a Field Trials Centre Manager to work at our offices in East Malling, Kent.

You will have significant experience of working in arable or horticultural field trials and be ready for the next step in your career. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on more responsibility for trial delivery whilst still remaining fully involved in day-to-day activities in the field.

If successful, you will be responsible for leading the trials team at the centre and the planning, implementation and management of field trials on a multitude of crops and inputs. The centre has an extensive programme of arable trialling alongside fruit crop research and you will be expected to work across both areas.

A full UK driving licence is required as travel around the country to trial sites is required. This is a permanent, full-time appointment.
