We have a fantastic new opportunity for an Entry-Level Pig Stockperson near Leeds (LS26).

Our client will consider individuals ideally with previous livestock experience or those finishing College or University having studied Agriculture.
Previous experience with pigs is preferred but not essential.


The role:

  • Working on a large indoor sow unit on a farrow-to-finish system
  • Mucking out/Bedding up
  • Animal Welfare
  • Feeding
  • Assisting where needed

The farm is looking for someone to train who is keen to learn and wants to have a long career in the Pig Industry.

You will have the chance to learn from skilled pig industry people who are willing to pass on their knowledge and skills. All aspects of pig husbandry will be covered. 

They are looking for someone local to LS26.

Salary Guide - £18K up to £25K depending on experience.
