Due to a restructuring we have a great opportunity for a unit manager to lead a team on a progressive dairy unit within a large mixed farming business.  The team care for 240 cows calving all year. The herd is TMR fed and set to be milked through new facilities in 2021 with auto ID/Heat time, ADF and shedding/handling area.

The housing for the herd has already been through a comprehensive refurbishment; reflected in the performance of the cows.

Key points to the position are:

• The full responsibility of the unit focusing on commercial milk production, herd welfare and young stock rearing.

• Ability to network with dairy consultant, technicians, owner and farm veterinary service

• The chance to lead an enthusiastic and dedicated dairy team.
