Job Opportunity – Experienced Arable Operator
A position has become available within an arable, contract farming and livestock enterprise based near Kettering, Northamptonshire covering 1000ha of combinable crops.
The position would suit a highly motivated individual with excellent attention to detail who is able to work in a small team but also willing work on their own when required and have significant experience of the demands of modern arable farming.
Main Responsibilities:
- Primary and secondary cultivations
- OSR establishment
- Cereal drilling
Other Responsibilities:
- Some Ploughing
- All other duties associated with combinable crop growing
- Relief sprayer driving during busy periods
- Suckler cow work
- Silage making
- Stewardship management
Requirements
- Full clean Driving license
- Good record keeping
- Telehandler Certificate
- PA 1,2 & 4S+G preferred however training will be offered for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on arable and livestock farms and a competitive package will be offered to the right candidate.
