Job Details
We are seeking to recruit a Pig Stockperson for an outdoor breeding-to-weaning pig farm in Dorset (DT11).
This high welfare farm is looking for a practical & hardworking individual who is motivated and adaptable to their business needs.
The successful candidate needs to be physically fit and enjoy working in all weather.
Duties to include:
- Livestock handling
- Breeding and AI
- Weaning
- Tractor driving
- Feeding and bedding up
- Moving equipment between pig batches
- Ensuring the highest welfare standard at all times
This role is suitable for either an experienced pig stockperson or a recent agricultural college graduate as training can be provided.
Pay is dependent on experience.
Accommodation is not available so needs to be able to commute to DT11.
