Based out of Nottinghamshire and with sites across the South East and Midlands, Strawson Ltd are one the UK's leading grower and supplier of carrots and parsnips to the retail sector. They are a progressive and family-owned business with a huge passion for sustainable large scale growing and packing.

About the Job

You will be responsible for all fresh site operations; the quality, production and packing of produce whilst meeting the highest of standards. You will be leading and coaching the team at all levels, delivering against the business plan and promoting and encouraging Strawsons' values. A focus on delivering continuous improvement within all production areas of the fresh division whilst ultimately meeting production requirements on time and in full.

The Ideal Candidate

To be a successful candidate, you will be an experienced production / Operations Manager coming from the food processing sector with a strong preference for fresh produce expertise. It goes without saying, you will have excellent communication skills along with the ability to plan and manage your workload accordingly. It is also absolutely vital that you are not only an experienced people manager but have the ability to lead, influence and advance a team effectively.
