Sprayer Operator.
Cobrey Farms, Ross- On- Wye, Herefordshire.
Cobrey Farms is a progressive family-run business growing a range of horticultural and arable crops in Ross-On-Wye, Herefordshire.
We have an exciting opportunity to operate our Agrifac Sprayer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the application of pesticides and nutrients to our wide range of horticultural and arable crops.
Key Duties will include:
- Principle operator of our Agrifac Sprayer.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the sprayer, to ensure minimum break down times.
- Accurate and timely applications of pesticides and liquid fertilisers to crops.
- Managing the spray store and keeping accurate records.
- Tractor driver responsibilities including fertiliser spreading and general farm operations.
- Working as part of a team and undertaking general farm work.
Skills and Attributes of the successful candidate:
- We are looking for someone with a passion for ensuring the best quality crops are produced.
- A minimum of 5 years practical experience on modern machinery.
- An organised, self-starter who can working under their own initiative.
- Be Health and Safety aware.
- PA1and PA2 are essential
- PA4S is desirable
- Flexible on working hours. Early mornings/ Late Evenings, Weekend Work will be required.
