WHERE IS THE ROLE LOCATED? EGYPT, AFRICA

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? This new company in the heart of Egypt has invested heavily into production of some major crops and major infrastructure to develop and sustain the supply of their produce. As a qualified and experienced Agronomist, you will be able to relocate to Egypt to work for long periods at a time within the growing cycle to fully integrate into the team and be part of this major development:

WHAT QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

  • Qualified and experienced open field and glasshouse/net Agronomist
  • Experience within Vegetables in Africa
  • 10 years + as an Agronomist within Vegetables
  • Vegetables to include Tomato, Sugar Snap, Mange Tout, Broccoli and other brassicas and some soft fruit experience maybe beneficial.
  • Hydroponic, drip and pivot irrigation experience desirable
  • Able to develop protocols for follow up and seasonal variety changes as well as trials.
  • Understand and develop market strategy and production plans.

You will be working in a desert environment within a purpose-built development so must be able to live in a remote location for long periods of time. You will be a hard-working resilient character used to this type of workplace, with large scale, multi-cultural workforces of varying abilities.
