Job Details
We have a new job vacancy for a pig stock/maintenance person to join a family-run mixed pig, cattle, sheep and arable farm in North Yorkshire (YO61).
The ideal candidate will work as part of an experienced team on tasks including:
- Indoor pig work – farrowing to finishing
- General farm work
- Maintenance – buildings repairs, welding, fabrication etc
- Tractor and telehandler work
Experience preferred, but training can be given.
An interest in farming and a keenness to learn is very important!
This role offers a great opportunity to take on varied duties while the candidate evolves with the modern farm.
Salary - £20k - £25k (d.o.e)
Accommodation is not available, so candidates need to be able to commute to YO61.
