Job Details
We are working with a family-run hardy nursery business that is looking for a grower to join the team.
About our Client
Our client is a 7th generation family business, which has been growing high-quality plants for over 200 years. They grow and supply hardy nursery stock to commercial landscapers, landowners and public sector organisations across the UK and Europe. They currently have 3 sites across Lincolnshire and grow on a total of 140 Ha of land.
About the Role
In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of growing high-quality, field-grown, hardy plants. Pest and disease management, irrigation, planting, and feeding will all fall into your remit. You will also support despatch, by preparing, handling, and processing plants as required.
The Ideal Candidate
Ideally, you will have held a grower position in the past, although growing trees is not essential. You will be confident in aspects of growing high-quality stock and have a desire to learn and progress. PA1 and PA6 are desirable.
