Experienced Arable Operator

A modern well equipped 1200 acre farming operation growing mainly cereal crops in Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced and skilled Arable Operator.

Main responsibilities include:

• Cultivation and drilling cereal crops
• Precision fertiliser applications
• Spraying and combine operations
• Monitoring of the grain store
• Record keeping
• Machinery maintenance and general farm duties

The successful candidate must have a proven track record of safely and accurately operating large scale precision equipment and John Deere tractors.  They must be forward thinking, versatile, safety conscious and be an enthusiastic team player but also have the ability to work on their own.

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, diligent and flexible person.

A competitive remuneration package including accommodation (or an allowance), is available for the right candidate.

A clean full UK driving & trailer licence, telehandler licence and PA1, PA2 & PA4 & NRoSO qualifications are required. Previous experience with tracked tractors preferred, but training can be provided.
